Order from Asian Food Grocer - Japanese Snacks

A couple months ago when Asian Food Grocer restocked their Japanese Kit Kats I jumped at the chance to order some. I originally posted these pics on my dailybooth, but I want go into more detail into what I purchased. That is the reason why these pics are so web cam looking. The prices at Asian Food Grocer are really fair. They are very comparable to my local Asian markets on all their products. Plus now they even sell circle lenses haha!

My big ass box from Asian Food Grocer! Inside it was divided into two smaller boxes like levels. The shipping is only $5 for orders over $25! Really great deal there. The processing time is a few days and then the shipping time is another few days. So it's not super fast but it's very good!

Having inner stacked boxes is really nice because if you put drinks and candy in the same box the drinks would crush the candy. A nice thought on their part!

What I ordered:

• Kit Kat - White Mocha Latte has a really good coffee taste.
• Kit Kat - Kinako Ohagi I have not tried this yet.. it's out of stock now.
• Kit Kat Mini - Strawberry Chocolate tastes like eating strawberry pocky. it's out of stock now.
• Kit Kat Mini - Chocolate & Sweet Potato is very strange but it does taste like sweet potato. it's out of stock now.
• Coris Whistle Ramune tastes very much like sweetarts so I don't recommend
• Kasugai Assorted Ramune Candy tastes very much like sweetarts so I don't recommend

The box underneath the candy contained these drinks. Shipping at only $5 is an AWESOME deal!

• Mitsuya Cider 16.6 fz
• Hansen's Natural Blueberry Pomegranate Drink 10.5 oz
• Hansen's Natural Dragonfruit Drink 10.5 oz
• Sapporo Melon Cream Soda 16.6 fl oz

So far I've only tried the Dragonfruit and it's eh-eh. Can't wait to eat REAL dragonfruit in Vietnam!!

Since I'm leaving next week I don't want to order again right now. I'll being passing through the Narita Airport in Japan! I want to see what I can find there first! :)

1 year blog anniversary

haha, so apparently yesterday was my one year blog anniversary! opps, missed by one day! Stay tuned because I am working on my first big giveaway! woot woot!

Why yes, I did managed to get 3 China Glaze polishes for $8 plus tax! How?
ULTA has these on sale for Buy 2 get 1 Free. So that's $6.50 each x 2 + 1 Free = $13.
PLUS I had a coupon for $5 off $10 so that brought my total down to $8! Woo hoo!

I think the sale is still going on? You can find the coupon in Elle or Allure magazine. Probably even other mags have the coupon. I have another one and I may go back and get Seche Vite + bastiste. They are 4.99 and 5.99 this week! So after coupon I would pay $6 for both!

I must say that now I know there is a difference between drugstore and non-drugstore polish. I don't fuss over my nails at all so I can't justify buying any polish at full price. But getting them at 65% off and cheaper than maybellienes or loreals is awesome! Plus Light As Air is so creamy and nice and the other two metallics make for great stamping polishes.

These were Buy one Get one Free at CVS a couple weeks ago for these NYC lip shines.

I used a $5 off $10 coupon from All you magazine.. so I paid next to nothing...  I can't even remember but it was a STEAL!

How about I give these balms away?! I will be having my one year blog anniversary in a couple of weeks so why not start early! I hope you don't think it's weird for me to give you stuff I got for nearly free...

Rock & Republic 50% off at Editor's Closet!

I'd like to think that it's because of ME that Rock & Republic is back at Editor's Closet. Why? Because I kept bugging them on Twitter about it and last week they tweeted me to "pay close attention" to the coming sales. It's really just wishful thinking, hehe. Anywayz!! Last time they were on sale I missed out. I think their sales usually run 2 days and ending on the second day at 11pm? It's not clear when the sale ends... but if you want something then get it right away!

I've been thinking about those huge blushes for some time now. $20 is half the price but it's supposed to have twice the amount of nars or mac. It's pricey but justified in my mind since I've STILL been thinking about it for a couple months now. I've only read REALLY good reviews about these blushes!

I would recommending looking for swatches because the product photos are horrible representatives of the colors!
