June Favorites
First, I've updated my blog sale with Chanel and R&R!
Here are my June Favorites!
1. Lancome Color Fever gloss in Paradise Peach - moisturizing and goes on smooth. It gives my lips a pretty pink-peach glow. I thought the Lancome glosses would be sticky like the juicy tubes but these are very nice and not sticky at it. It's thick but it settles nicely. It's also pigmented enough to use without lipstick! It's limited edition, so I bought a backup! :)
2. fresh Citron de Vigne edp - it's a "fresh" citrus scent that's light and crisp but still complex.
3. OPI Nail Polish in Steady As She Rose - This creamy pale pink-purple polish is from the Pirates of the Caribbean OPI collection. At first glance I thought I wasn't going to like how light it is, but on my nails it looks very pretty! It's a tad streaky at first but workable.
4. Revlon Nail Treatment - This is a ridge filler, and I like how it provided a nice and smooth base to my nails. It dries quickly, and I can apply two to three coats to prime my nails for polishes that usually require more coats.
5. MAC 219 Pencil Brush - An essential makeup brush, no other pencil brush compares! Thanks Megan! <3

May Favorites
It's now or never for my May Favorites! These are absolutely wonderful products I couldn't miss sharing with you!
1. Bvlgari BLV II edp - my new love! I love finding new fragrances, and I wouldn't have sniffed this out if not for birchbox putting this brand on my radar! It's light and fresh and instant love. The only downside is it doesn't last long enough on me. The SA at Nordstrom was kind enough to give me this sample for free! wow!
2. Lancome L'Absolu' Rouge lipstick in Lily Rose - it's creamy and the most beautiful pink that I can wear everyday! Sadly when taking the photo I dinged the lipstick ack! This is a limited edition color from the Spring collection. There are still some left, and I def need a backup! I've used quite a bit already!
3. Jouer lip gloss in Blush - Initially I was drawn to this brand because of the name, jouer. It means 'to play' in French. The texture is of a divine high end lipgloss and the color (creamy baby pink) gives my lips a glowy look!
4. Deborah Lippman polish in Naked - The perfect nude color and the DL formula is top notch, wow! Officially addicted to DL. Now I just need the perfect nude pumps.
5. Bio-Oil Scar Treatment - Effectively lightened the new sunspot on my hand by 80% in only a month. With more regular usage I think I can make the spot disappear completely.

September Favorites
My favorites for September. First time doing this!
Chanel Jade Rose Polish - My first polish spurlge! It's a beautiful light peach-pink nude cream color. It's the first polish that I wanted to keep wearing and stare at in a long time. There's gotta be a reason why this was released a second time! It originally came out with that Jade green polish that overshadowed this one. This year it came out with Paradoxal which also stole the spotlight. I even love this polish so much I need to get a backup. You can probably still find this at your local Macy's or Dillard's. And if you want to try a dupe...
Milani Bare in Mind Polish - This is close but not a dupe for Jade Rose. It's more pink toned and has slightly more shimmer. It's not exactly a favorite but it's still pretty!
Long handled mirror - I originally got a small mirror like this from Maggie's giveaway, and since I liked it so much I searched for a bigger one! It probably sounds stupid but the "design" of long-handled mirrors seems much more practical and easier to use than clam shell ones. Having a grip is nice and the mirror's not in the way.
Mac Notoriety Quad -Seeing that I liked Skintone 2 and Notoriety from the Felines collection I did some research and found that they are repromotes from this quad! I tracked it down on ebay for about $25ish including shipping which is similar to a CCO price I think. Yay for me! I really like the neutral colors in this.
Dior Addict Ultra Gloss in Negligee Pink 256 - It gives a beautiful pink glow to my lips. It's instant LOVE with this pricey gloss. It's opaque enough to wear alone even on my pigmented lips! <3<3
Dior diorshow Extase - I've been having fun playing with the sample. It works pretty well on my lashes. I'm not too picky. Thanks Cat! <3
Nars Orgasm Blush - I got this in a blogsale from Amy and I love it! Really lives up to the hype!
Rock and Republic shader brush - The cut on this brush is nice so that it picks up shadows really well. I like how thin it is too. I was not looking for a fluffy one. This brush is perfect! It's not worth the retail price though.
That's it for September. Thinking of doing a September Returns/Misses.

China Glaze 3 for $8, deal steals, mini giveaway
ULTA has these on sale for Buy 2 get 1 Free. So that's $6.50 each x 2 + 1 Free = $13.
PLUS I had a coupon for $5 off $10 so that brought my total down to $8! Woo hoo!
I think the sale is still going on? You can find the coupon in Elle or Allure magazine. Probably even other mags have the coupon. I have another one and I may go back and get Seche Vite + bastiste. They are 4.99 and 5.99 this week! So after coupon I would pay $6 for both!
I must say that now I know there is a difference between drugstore and non-drugstore polish. I don't fuss over my nails at all so I can't justify buying any polish at full price. But getting them at 65% off and cheaper than maybellienes or loreals is awesome! Plus Light As Air is so creamy and nice and the other two metallics make for great stamping polishes.

NYX Mega Shine gloss in Cream Soda and NYX Goddess of the Night in French Kiss
Non-sticky and very pretty!
To depot or not? I have a 12-pan MAC palette because I was obsessed with depotting and organizing, but sometimes I miss the convenience of a little palette. I do have the 4-pan ones that I fill up with coordinating shadows, but most of the time I only use three! So I kind of defeat my original plan of depotting them all! Depotting gets addicting, once you start you can't stop!
Maybelline Stylish Smokes in Natural Smokes!! Finally I have my chubby fingers on this baby! Thanks Steph!! <3 I will try your looks with this, YEAH!

Happy New Year
First FOTD for the year (5 minute look)
Had dinner with my grandpa at my Aunt's today. Me in my glasses! Just a plain look for dinner.
Maybelline DREAM LIQUID Mousse Foundation in Natural Beige Medium 2.5- the coverage is good, and the shade matches really well! I just don't like how it still feels "wet" right after you put it on. It's like floating on my face or something. When I apply powder with a kabuki the brush will just stir the foundation on my face instead of glide over it with setting powder. I have to wait too long for it to "dry." It could also be breaking me out, I dunno.
24.7 Skin Care Mineral Highlighting Bronzer Palette- can't be seen, but I used it earlier today. I do LOVE this stuff though. It looks like the shimmer bricks.
Julu Jewelry Island Citrus Earrings
smashbox Waterproof Shadow Liner in Bronze- like it but it may be dried out now...
MUFE Aqua Eyes liner in Dark Grey 21L- great staying powder, no smudges! Great alternative to black.
Définicils High Definition Mascara in Black- it's okay, not too picky about mascara. my lashes are wonky and curve toward my nose on one eye.
Maybelline Volume XL Seduction Lip Plumper in 605 (Seductively Nude)- I like the glossy shine it adds and how it plumps my lips by getting rid of the lines. I was in dire need of chapstick before putting this on, but I don't even need it now! It also gives you a little tingle like most plumpers do. Very smooth! I love this stuff!
Some people may not like the twisty lip glosses, but this one does not have a brush. You don't have to wait and keep twisting for the gloss to come up. It's plastic with 6 holes that the gloss comes out of. Favorite drugstore gloss so far!
Note: I don't rate this based on the plumping effect, mainly just smoothness or stickiness and the look you get on your lips. I don't believe anything will really plump the lips.

Laura Mercier Lip Plumper
This is one of my favorite lip glosses. I don't see much of any Laura Mercier reviewed on blogger, so here it is!
This is one in wildberry. Obviously I use it all of the time! It's almost gone. I need to do that water trick to get more use out of it. I first got the little sample from a gwp, and I immediately had to get more! Cheap 'ole me bought one from ebay, haha. The brown one is called bronzed berry. This generous girl on makeup alley sent it to me for nothing in return because she got it free from a gwp. She didn't want anything in return since she was trying to clear out her stuff. So nice of her!

Review:
I don't really care that it is a plumper. As far as plumping goes, it gives you a tingly feeling, and it does plump your lips a tiny bit. It's silky and never sticky, which I love. I can't stand the sticky glosses (like mac). It goes on sheer with a little sparkle. Not too sparkly for work! Plus it has a nice scent, not weird or vanilla, very subtle.The bad:
The price! This sucker is $30! Their Lip Glace is only $22. If you don't need a plump, try those instead. victoria's secret secret party
Somehow I managed to catch an email from VS about a little holiday event at my local store. I usually end up deleting all 100 emails in my "spam" account, but luckily their email just stood out. So anyhow, the event was tonight! There was a DJ, free gifts, good sales, and lots of people! See the photos below!
This is the gift they were handing out at the entrance. A large sized pouch with a beauty rush lip gloss inside. There was also a raffle going on for $100 prizes!
Get a look at this hilarious price tag. One thing that bugs me about VS is their marked up tote bags. This at a $40 value? Come on! $10 at most! I noticed they always have this tote they try to get you to buy. It's like a giant tote bag that they call a $60 value. What? $60? no way, not for a tote bag! [end rant]
Last week I got a $10 off any purchase coupon in the mail, so what better time to use it? I planned on getting the new $10 lip gloss the MUA told me "just came out tonight" from their Holiday Collection. Got the sis to take a pic while I waited to "pay."
I forgot the name of the line of makeup, but this shade is Intimate. It's a light pink with a little sparkle. There was another lip gloss in a nude color. I also spotted 4 pigments in neutral and black and white like holiday colors plus 2 all-over powders. All of the products are $10. Very pretty collection! Wish I got a pic so I could show you.
But, when I got to the checkout, the lady told me I couldn't use my coupon on a purchase that is exactly $10. Then I found this!
Pretty right? It reminds me of the lauren luke palettes.
I just looked on the website, and it's $10.99. It rung up as $15 for me. boo!!! But it's a really cute palette! A great gift, even though now you know I didn't pay that much for it! ;) It's tight this Christmas, so I've been using gift cards, coupons, extra-bucks, and kohl's cash to buy gifts for people.
Anyhow, since I've won a few giveaways recently, I'd like to give back a little starting tonight! A secret little giveaway! Put Barely There on entire eye, dab Champagne on the ball, and shade with Root Beer on the outer eye. Blend Blend Blend! Line with black/brown.

I did this look to my sister after watching Michelle Phan's tutorial on YouTube. I posted it as a video response, but she hasn't accepted it yet... I will work with the cheek set soon so I know if I have to return it or not. :) I have not seen ANY reviews of this blush, so strange! Also if you want the Murad kit just go to the Ulta counter and ask for it! No purchase necessary!!
