On Sunday I went to the Temple again for the 100 days memorial of my grandma (dad's side). It was a different temple this time (in a trailer). I was mostly distracted by my nephews playing around, but it's not like I can understand what is being said anyway. It's a nice change from church every week. I noticed there was bowing every time somebody hit the gong. Is that how it goes?
That night the fam had a goodbye dinner with Grandpa (mom's side). None of it was home-cooked, but it was still good!
Seafood Chow Mein
Fried Tofu
Shrimp Noodle Spring Rolls
Rice Soup
Spicy Honey Wings (so random...)

ReplyDeleteThat is pretty much when you bow down at the temple but it's only during praying time which is usually only 1-2 hours.
And yummy food!

ReplyDeletefood looks really yummy :D Homemade or not, still tastes godo right? :) I hate going to the temple.. it takes such a LONGGGG time! But then again church did too.. I will do a swatch of the lipgloss on my lips tomorrow for you if I haven't said that yet :D It's really pretty I swear! I don't think temptalia blended it out with her fingers because that's how it looked when I first applied it with a lip brush >_<
ReplyDeleteHmm... I always thought they only eat vegetarian in temples?

I don't think it's lemongrass in the rolls, it's probably chives. Yeah, when the gong strikes, you're supposed to bow. It's a good exercise for your back :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Megan! It's a nice perfume!
